What is it about us humans
that we feel the need to conquer everything?
We want to be the kings of everywhere.
We want to own everything.
We want to win every time.

That’s not how other animals behave.
Lions know they’ll be murdered one day
by younger lions on the prowl
and their children will be sacrificed
so that the mothers have no reason to fight back.

Animals know that life is tough
but I’ve never heard them complain.

Us humans, on the other hand,
can’t even stand pulp in our juice.

Sometimes, I can’t be sure if
we are the most successful of all species
or the most stupid.
